Prizewinner at the International Music Competition of the ARD Munich as recorder player

 

1979

Foundation of the chamber ensemble CAMERATA KÖLN

First recordings as a soloist with the complete sonatas of Telemann and Handel on the Deutsche Harmonia Mundi label

Start of the international acitivity as soloist and chamber musician

 

1980

Appointment as professor at the former "Hochschule der Künste" (now "Universität der Künste" ) Berlin


1983

Change to the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt /M as professor for recorder and head of the department for Early Music

 

1979 -2013

Recordings of nearly the complete baroque recorder repertoire including three versions of the complete recorder concertos by A. Vivaldi (1980, 1990, 2009), complete concertos and sonatas by G. Ph. Telemann, the Brandenburg Concertos by J.S.Bach (with "Musica Antiqua Köln") and a box of 8 Cds with an anthology of baroque recorder music
